Hire Resolve's client, a leading construction firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer or building professional to join their team. As a Construction Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the managing, controlling and monitoring of the design and planning of construction projects. You are responsible for carrying over timely information to the relevant construction teams. Positions are available in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Responsibilities: Review and analyse project requirements and constraints Collaborate and communicate with relevant stakeholders. Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards Work well in a team as well as independently Create and update relevant documentation Collaborate with construction teams to ensure the effective implementation of the designs Monitor and supervise construction teams Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Building Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineer or Quantity Surveying 10 years of experience in the building industry Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and processes Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and standards Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Benefits Salary: market-related, negotiable Contact Hire Resolve for you next career-changing move.
