Opportunity for experienced Construction Foreman with mining industry experience to join a well-established firm in Rustenburg area Minimum requirements: Matric. Valid trade test with statement of results. - Boilermaker Must be medically fit. 5 years’ experience or more in the plant environment will be advantageous. Legal liability for supervisors/managers. POLC certificate or Project Construction Management certificate. Strategic management. Maintain proper utilisation of both equipment and people reporting to him Primary component supply and capabilities are: Structural Steel Manufacturing. Platework Fabrication. Mechanical Support Fabrication. Pressure Vessels and Pressure Piping Fabrication. Pipe and Fitting Fabrication, Mild/Carbon/Stainless Steel. Hardwearing Plates. HDPE Piping & Fittings. SMPP Turnkey Project work including civils. Green & Brownfields Work. Furnace Steelwork, fabrication and Installation. (fabrication and installation) Fibre and Galvanised Grating. Corrosion Protection to customer specifications. Duties will include but is not limited to: Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans. Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew. Allocate general and daily responsibilities. Supervise and train workers and artisans. Ensure manpower and resources are adequate. Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met. Supervise the use of machinery and equipment. Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget. Resolve problems when they arise.
