Description Job Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects throughout South Africa. The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Minimum Requirements: Matric/ Grade 12 Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field Proficiency in project management software and tools Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from inception to completion Knowledge of construction industry regulations, codes, and standards Registration with a professional body (Highly Advantageous) Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables Establish and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and deadlines Budget Management: Prepare project budgets and cost estimates, monitoring expenses and ensuring adherence to financial constraints Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies to optimize project budgets Manage procurement activities, including sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and overseeing purchasing processes Team Leadership and Coordination Lead and motivate project teams, providing clear direction and guidance to achieve project objectives Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution Conduct regular meetings and communication sessions to update stakeholders on project progress and address any issues or concerns Quality Assurance and Compliance: Implement quality control measures to ensure construction projects meet regulatory standards and client specifications Conduct site inspections and quality audits to identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with construction projects, developing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact Monitor project risks and proactively address any issues that may arise during the construction process Implement effective contingency plans to manage unforeseen circumstances and maintain project continuity Key Skills and Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities Apply Now
