If you have the ability to manage complex construction projects, engage with stakeholders effectively, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, we want to hear from you What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it): As a Construction Project Manager for Utility Scale Solar Projects, you will oversee all aspects of large-scale solar construction projects from initiation to closure. Your responsibilities will include identifying stakeholders, conducting joint site surveys, customizing construction methodology plans, preparing project kick-off meetings, managing project scope and ensuring quality assurance. You will also coordinate site establishments, analyse project performance and prepare progress and risk reports for senior management. Additionally, you will develop construction methodology plans, manage manpower resources, supervise construction, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Where you'll be doing it: Our client is a leading company in the renewable energy sector, dedicated to driving innovation and excellence in solar power projects. They are based in the renewable energy hub of Johannesburg, specifically in Bryanston. What you'll need: To excel in this role, you will need a strong technical background in Electrical Engineering, particularly in transmission power projects. You should have extensive experience in construction management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control of large-scale solar projects. A proven ability to engage with stakeholders, manage project resources, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards is essential. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required, along with proficiency in relevant project management and design software. Knowledge of regulatory standards and the ability to work independently with little or no supervision are also crucial.
