Our Construction Client is seeking a Site Clerk with BuildSmart Experience to join their team based in Johannesburg Central . Purpose of the job- A construction site clerk performs a wide range of administration-related duties that is related to the effective record keeping for the site. Working Conditions- Dusty & noisy construction sites –100%. Must be able to move freely. Salary : R 15 000.00 CTC pm (based on experience) Risk benefits. Do offer internal bursaries (within the construction industry) Requirements : Matric is a MUST 1-2 years experience working on Build Smart (Ordering & Procurement) is a MUST 1-2 years experience working on Microsoft Office (excel) Fluent in English Speaking and understanding of Afrikaans Key Performances • Responsible for time management to ensure efficient work completion. • Ensure that any tasks are completed according to instructions/specifications. • Effective verbal communication with supervisors, asst. supervisors, and fellow workers. • Maintenance and caretaking of tools inventory available to him/her. • Ensure that all site-related records are administered and filed in a structured manner for efficient requests for information. Responsibilities : Confirm and sign delivery notes against the relevant received goods, and file accordingly. Administer and record site-related paperwork and delivery notes with regard to stock received and dispatched. Stock Management of Bulk Orders Labour allocations to workgroups Administer Daily Site Dairy Receive and administer the receipt of any record received on-site Register requisition on the company-subs requisition register Process requisition received from a site Place an order on the company-subs system Finalize requisition register. Notify the site of the completed requisition and inform them of the order numbers. All Order Enquiry's Filing of requisition and orders processed Check and compare quantities delivered with order. Enter quantities delivered on the company-subs system. Check and verify the signature on the delivery note. Check and compare rates with order.
