Exciting Opportunity for Site Manager
Our client, a dynamic medium-sized contractor based in Cape Town, is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join their team. Specializing in luxury residential projects primarily along the Atlantic Seaboard and other upmarket areas, this role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience with a portion of that in a site management position.
- Proficiency in managing high-end residential projects ranging from R8 Million to R20 Million
- Expertise in concrete building structures and high-end finishing
- Familiarity with JBCC and MS Projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective client, team, and subcontractor communication
- Proven ability to oversee site progress, maintain quality standards, and manage budgets
- Qualifications in construction would be an advantage. (not a prerequisite)
Responsibilities/duties:
- Report directly to the Director and take ownership of projects from inception to completion
- Ensure efficient project management, adhering to timelines and budget constraints
- Demonstrable track record, references, and experience in luxury projects are essential prerequisites
