Firstly, you are required to know ERP system implementations. No need to be the techy yourself however, having been involved in implementation and understanding the nitty-gritty aspects are crucial as you will be engaging with clients. Secondly, is your financial knowledge. Knowing the difference between a credit and a debit is not enough. I need you to be on top of your game when it comes to understanding the quotation process to processing journals, VAT, and tax implications. You are pretty much a genius and could even draft management accounts if need be.
