Consulting Electrical Engineer / Technologist - - Pretoria

Qualifications & Experience:

Engineering degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Extensive experience in Building Services, including Commercial, Retail, Industrial, and Educational sectors.
3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role post-qualification.
Proven expertise in power generation systems.
Experience with Photovoltaic systems is highly advantageous.
Thorough knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with AutoCAD is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Collaborate directly with lead senior electrical engineers on various projects.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while adhering to project timelines and deliverables.
Design electrical building services, including LV reticulation, small power, lighting, distribution boards, and generator sizing and integration.
Design electronic building services such as smoke detection, CCVT, access control, and PA+ Evac systems.
Manage main MV reticulation projects.
Implement photovoltaic systems where applicable.
Conduct meetings with clients, architects, and other consulting engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
Utilize project management skills to oversee and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects.
