Essential Skills Requirements: - In-depth Process & Accounting Knowledge - Experience and affinity for IT & processes, particularly in international taxes - Strong Change & Project Management - Good knowledge of the role of data and the use of technology in managing tax - Working knowledge of ERP systems including SAP - Excellent and articulate communicator - Ability to influence and engage with authority - Strong business acumen - Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership and work autonomously - Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter Advantageous Skills Requirements: - Experience in global SAP template rollouts - Agile methodology experience Qualifications/Experience: - Post-graduate degree or certification in Taxation preferred - Minimum BCOM in Accounting, Law, Computer Science, or similar considered - Chartered Accountant or MBA advantageous Role Responsibilities: - Provide tax implementation support, including testing, developing, adapting, and expanding IT systems and processes to ensure tax compliance. - Independently develop relevant tax standards and guidelines and ensure timely tax documentation. - Define data needs of the tax team and continue the development of the tax digitalization roadmap aligned with BMW Group-wide strategies. - Deliver tactical and strategic data and digital tax solutions set out in the BMW tax digitalization roadmap. - Coordinate and oversee market rollout in all aspects of the assigned product. - Maintain an overview of Feature Team-specific processes & structures. - Ensure the Feature Team solution for a market is implemented & tested efficiently.
