Our client based in the Durban North area is looking for a Content Writer to join their growing team. As the Content Writer you will oversee the writing, editing, and delivering of all content, be it emails, blog posts, website copy, eBooks, whitepapers or more. You are the chief responsible for ensuring the company's messaging and positioning is aligned and showcased to the broader market. You will have the ability to showcase your work publishing under your own name as well as ghost writing certain content and article pieces for others. Your content niche is the accounting industry, so it is important to know and embrace the accounting industry to make your content shine. Research and write industry related content that is relevant to the audience and product to help promote and increase visibility of the brand globally. Write clear marketing copy for products and services which follows brand guidelines and helps to improve overall comprehension and conversions Prepared well-constructed content Submit work to editor for input and approval Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines based on provided SEO framework to help improve the content reach of your blogs and long-form content Identify customers' needs and gaps in content and become proactive in pitching and working on new content to help grow the brand Update website content on a as needed or requested basis to ensure the company remains current and up to date Enforce messaging consistency across the wider business for team communication to clients Experience writing, editing and delivering long-forma and short-form content pieces Experience writing content with SEO-best practice in mind Experience writing for the accounting/finance industry is also a major plus Experience having worked in a US company is a big plus
