Profile Required Bachelor’s degree in Operations/Engineering field Formal Metrology Course Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the automotive manufacturing environment Good technical knowledge of Six Sigma Analytical with high level of technical insight & experience Above average in Microsoft Excel Advanced level Broad strategic thinker, with clear vision and direction of world class change management Proven leadership skills and business acumen – performance driven Key Responsibilities Drive Continuous Improvement to quantitatively and qualitatively improve costs, quality and service. Train and educate the organisation and implement continuous improvement methodologies. Provide strategic leadership and tactical planning to ensure Continuous Improvement strategies are implemented and maintained within South Africa. Lay the foundation for standardized work operations. Engage all levels of management in the PDCA process. Adopt lean tools, lean systems, lean behaviours and lean thinking that will lead and support improving business results. Be responsible for identifying OEE opportunities including tracking downtime results, improving data integrity and developing improvement plans based on the data.
