Contracts Manager - Centurion
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage contracts strategically to minimize the likelihood of claims from contractors, safeguarding project integrity and financial stability.
- Ensure contractors deliver on project schedules established as baseline benchmarks, maintaining project momentum and efficiency.
- Collaborate in the development of Project Execution Plan (PEP) strategies and establish contract requirements, facilitating streamlined procurement processes for Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Oversee projects from initiation to conclusion, ensuring timely completion and adherence to allocated budgets.
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a strong commercial background, considered essential for this role.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in mining, construction, and commercial sectors, demonstrating a solid understanding of industry-standard contract conditions such as General Conditions of Contract for Construction Works (GCC), the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), and New Engineering Contract (NEC).
