Key Performance Areas Identify and define immediate, short and long term objectives, priorities and strategies associated with the provision of an effective Protection and SCADA Section encapsulating Protection Field Services, Protection Projects & Design, Protection Performance Audit & Settings, as well as SCADA Field Services Prepares annual capital and operating budgets for the section and manages the implementation of financial controls and procedures over expenditure against the approved budget allocations Directs and controls the professional, technical and operational outcomes associated with the maintenance of the Electricity Department’s high and medium voltage protection and SCADA control systems Manages the development and implementation of a quality management system to monitor and verify the correct configuration of protective relaying schemes and control systems Manages the performance of protective relaying systems and ensures that investigations are conducted into relay faults and malfunctions Directs and ensures version control of protective relay documentation and software to ensure that the latest software versions are available for field services and design staff Apply Now
