We are looking for an experienced SQA coordinator towards JHB to join our pet food manufacturing client, reporting into the Commercial manager. You will be responsible for: Check that the sourced raw materials are compliant with the company standards, regulation requirements of as per food and safety program Responsible for local suppliers and international suppliers Support the factory and and quality system Import and local source of raw materials at minimum risk Supplier audits Stakeholder liaison Quality synthesis and reviews Drive regulatory and trade compliance Development of local suppliers Buyer liaison Create focal plans on quality software Use Nexus to upload documentation Travel within and outside of SA when needed Must have: Completed degree in Food Science / Technology Held a role within Food Quality and Safety for 3 years' in FMCG Food Knowledge of HACCP // ISO 22000 lead auditor training Knowledge of industrial raw material process Inspection and testing on Food experience Product quality experience Relationship management skills Able to travel within and outside of SA Supplier food safety management experience / knowledge Problem solver Results driven Client orientated Apply Now
