The ideal candidate is a natural storyteller with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be accountable for the ideation, planning, briefing, managing and monitoring of your writing projects. Proven writing experience is required. We’re looking for passion, energy and work ethic. Key responsibilities: – Copywriting for social media calendars – Writing for social media campaigns – Writing for newsletters and promotional mailers – Writing website copy, blog posts, and press releases – Participating in internal strategy meetings – Manage all content production to be delivered on time, adhering to client expectations. – Coordinate with the creative team and account managers for flawless execution of content production – Research, conceptualisation, and new ideas – Foster a productive, yet kind and creative work environment Personal attributes: – Creative, quirky and out-of-the-box thinker – Natural communicator – Cooperative attitude and good team player – Willingness to learn, and accept instructions, feedback, correction and supervision – Accuracy and attention to detail – Effective time-management skills – Ability to perform under pressure and work on many tasks at once – Natural organisational skills and multi-tasking capabilities – Good planner with strong administrative skills – Structured worker that can provide clarity and direction – Intrinsic motivator and driven to see people deliver their best work Requirements: – Appropriate qualification or equivalent writing experience – Excellent written and verbal communication skills – Excellent grammar, spelling and language use – A keen understanding of the digital marketing environment – Bilingual in Afrikaans and English will be an advantage – Design experience will be an advantage – Project management experience will be an advantage Closing date 19 Apr The post Copywriter and Social Media Manager appeared first on freerecruit.co.za .
