Corporate Finance Manager - - South Africa

Key Responsibilities:

Fund Raising for Capital Projects:

Identify, assess, and execute actions to fulfil funding requirements for company projects.
Lead the refinancing process for the Vantage Loan and secure funding for the Waterview Apartments project.
Engage with banks, financial institutions, pension funds, and rating agencies to secure competitive financing.
Prepare pitch decks, investment memoranda, and proposals for pipeline developments.
Provide decision support on debt and equity funding, mitigating project and risk management issues.
Report on fund-raising activities to the management team and board meetings.

Other Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive financial models for projects, including cash flow forecasts and risk assessments.
Deliver cash flow forecasts, scenario analysis, and return analysis for accurate financial statements.
Provide ongoing support and advice to the group on financing matters, contributing to strategic financial planning.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
7+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or financial advisory roles.
Proven success in raising capital for projects and managing post-funding activities.
Strong financial modelling skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modelling software.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, engaging stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse complex financial data and develop actionable insights.
