A Vacancy exists at Mpact Gauteng – in the Finance Department located in Brakpan. Job Summary: Support the business with value added analysis including but not limited to costing/GP analysis, stock control and Opex analysis. Primary Responsibility: Calculate the cost price of manufacturing raw materials, Labour and overheads allocation. Provide support to Ops team for daily cyclical counts and month end stock counts. Report on results of stock takes to Ops and Finance Manager and also assist with analysis of stock variance and investigating origin of stock variances. Identify paper stock that is at risk of becoming obsolete for Planners in production runs on weekly basis. Weekly flag FGS that is at risk of becoming obsolete as per policy to sales staff to deliver to customer. Conduct Monthly reviews, analysis Opex spend and consumable usage to identify any issue areas to management. Review actuals vs budget with detailed commentary on variances. Assist with recording waste percentages & interventions to reduce waste. Manage daily costing requests. Qualifications & Experience: Matric/Grade 12 – with Mathematics/Accounting. BCom in Accounting or a related field. CIMA Qualified 3 – 5 years' minimum experience in Production or Manufacturing environment. Competencies Attention to detail. Strong Numerical ability. Team Player. Analytical thinking. Ability to organize and prioritize. Ability to interact with people of varying levels in the organisation. Demonstrate sound work ethics. Market Related
