Our leading food manufacturing company in the Northwest is expanding its finance team and is seeking a dynamic Cost Accountant to join our plant-based operations. We're on the lookout for someone with a comprehensive understanding of various costing methods, including standard costing and activity-based costing (ABC), coupled with expertise in inventory management and pricing strategies. The ideal candidate will hold a completed degree in accounting, with progress towards CIMA certification, and possess 2-3 years of essential operational-level experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Supervisory experience is also a must, as you'll be leading a team to drive financial excellence. Proficiency in Sage 300 and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas, are essential for this role. Additionally, strong communication skills and the ability to manage people effectively are key. As our Cost Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in financial accounting, audits, risk management, and budgeting. You'll be responsible for compiling reports, ensuring data accuracy, and managing month-end financial processes.
