Cost Controller join their finance team
. As a
Cost Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
General:
- Provide comprehensive assistance to both internal and external stakeholders concerning financial inquiries and procedures.
- Execute any additional tasks as directed by management on a flexible, as-needed basis.
Payments:
- Handle the processing and approval of non-project purchase orders and invoices promptly and accurately.
- Facilitate the approval process for purchase orders and invoices, ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Verify the correct allocation of all expenses and validate the accuracy of banking details on invoices.
- Ensure proper matching of invoices with corresponding purchase orders, referencing purchase order numbers accordingly.
- Validate expenses for compliance with company policies and seek approvals as necessary.
- Address discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices by liaising with relevant individuals in respective regions.
- Conduct creditor reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare comprehensive payment packs on a weekly and monthly basis, including the preparation of CSV files.
- Provide support to branch managers in tracking purchase orders, invoices, and furnishing any additional information required.
- Process payments to regional sundry suppliers on a monthly basis, maintaining stringent control over costs and regional expenditures.
- Ensure all payments are accompanied by reconciliations to supplier statements, rather than relying solely on invoices for payment validation.
Qualifications:Completed Finance Qualification
Skills: 1 - 2 years in similar role
Attention to detail.
Telecommunication industry would be advantageous.
