As a Cost Controller, you will play a pivotal role in our company's financial success by effectively managing costs and ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.
This position is based in Sandton.
Duties:- Financial Management:
- Strategically allocate and utilize company resources to maximize cost-effectiveness.
- Take ownership of cost management initiatives to drive financial efficiency.
- Business Process Management & Governance:
- Strictly adhere to established timelines, company policies, and departmental procedures.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements to maintain governance standards.
- Operational Excellence:
- Provide assistance to internal and external stakeholders on financial queries and processes.
- Collaborate with management to fulfill ad-hoc duties as needed.
- Payment Processing:
- Efficiently process and approve non-project purchase orders and invoices.
- Verify banking details and ensure accurate expense allocations.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Prepare creditor reconciliations and payment packs in a timely manner.
- Support branch managers with purchase order tracking and supplier management.

Job Experience and Skills Required:- Completed Matric
- Degree in Accounting or Finance related field
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a similar position
- Basic experience working on Microsoft Office
