Cost Controller - - Johannesburg

As a Cost Controller, you will play a pivotal role in our company's financial success by effectively managing costs and ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.
This position is based in Sandton.

Duties:

Financial Management:
Strategically allocate and utilize company resources to maximize cost-effectiveness.
Take ownership of cost management initiatives to drive financial efficiency.

Business Process Management & Governance:
Strictly adhere to established timelines, company policies, and departmental procedures.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements to maintain governance standards.

Operational Excellence:
Provide assistance to internal and external stakeholders on financial queries and processes.
Collaborate with management to fulfill ad-hoc duties as needed.

Payment Processing:
Efficiently process and approve non-project purchase orders and invoices.
Verify banking details and ensure accurate expense allocations.
Match invoices with purchase orders and reconcile any discrepancies.
Prepare creditor reconciliations and payment packs in a timely manner.
Support branch managers with purchase order tracking and supplier management.
