Position: Counselor: Life Coach Grade: B4M1 Position Purpose: To ensure that the member is well informed and educated to mitigate the risk associated with illness which will limit hospitalization, mortality and further health degradation and costs Experience: 2-3 years counselling in a hospital or clinical experience, providing patient care Qualifications: Relevant B Psych degree. Current registration with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) Client service delivery and quality - Follow procedures and cooperate with peers and leader for best possible service delivery Competency Requirements: Knowledge -Knowledge and application of relevant legislation -Application of financial and risk assessment methodology -Knowledge of scheme rules and contractual negotiations Skill -Customer Focus -Business Writing Skills -Technical expertise in functional area -Data modelling and evaluation -Attention to Accuracy and Detail -Ability to negotiate and influence -Knowledge and application of clinical intervention principles -Knowledge and application of clinical risk assessment -Report writing and presentation skills -Communication Skills -Computer Technology Skills -Task Management -Adobe Creative Suite -Problem solving and decision making skills -Numerical Ability
