The Counter Sales Consultant will be supporting the PC manager with effectively executing the responsibilities in the Paint Centre in line with the required customer experience standards, to achieve all budgets and targets within the PC, supporting the strategy on profit, volume and good governance measures. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Must have 3-5 years' retail experience in Paint or Hardware Industry with the following responsibilities: Providing sales and technical service to customers. Servicing customers both instore and telephonically. Advising customers and attending to their needs. Picking orders for customers. Packing and picking of stock in the PC. Requesting stock orders. General house-keeping and maintaining store image. Mixing of paint on an occasional basis. Daily cash up and banking Day to day administration and operations. Conduct weekly cycle-counts and stock-taking. Adhere and assist the PC Manager with EHS requirements. Ad- hoc duties Minimum Matric Qualification Formal Qualification, degree or diploma in Sales/ Marketing Desireble Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and SAP B1/ Cistech would be desirable. Financial Acumen and Daily Cash balancing skills Strong sales and administration skills Paint and coatings related knowledge. Medical Aid Provident Fund Sales Commission Salary - Market Related
