CRANE / LIFTING EQUIPMENT MILLWRIGHT - Witbank
Duties:
- Focused to improve production and product quality and to eliminate breakdowns.
- When a breakdown occurs, they will be the first line of defense and must ensure that downtime is kept to a minimum.
- Attend to breakdowns and perform inspections on a 24 hrs basis to ensure maximum plant availability and efficiency.
- Testing and inspecting equipment, ensuring safe operation.
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs of equipment.
- Adhere to SHEQ systems and procedures.
Requirements:
- Trade tested Millwright and minimum N3 or Matric with Maths & Science,
- Have a good mechanical, electrical/electronic and instrument knowledge,
- Be computer literate,
- Have five years post apprentice work experience as a millwright,
- Be physically fit and not afraid of confined spaces and heights,
- Be willing to work overtime as requested,
- Must be willing to do standby,
- Have extensive knowledge of electrical circuits,
- LMI certification or studying towards its completion required.
