Creative Director with CRM, Direct, Loyalty experience We're looking for an experienced Creative Director with an amazing portfolio that demonstrates expertise in Direct Marketing, CRM and Loyalty (across a range of channels). Requirements Manage a creative team of 2 writers, 4 designers, 1 DTP operator, and freelancers as needed Be responsible for all creative output across all clients Inspire, manage and motivate the team through regular check-ins and initiatives Have a conceptual bent, and be able to crack concepts, with and without the team, and review those presented to you, as well as improving and building on ideas presented Manage the delivery of the briefs/concepts through to final deliverables together with Traffic, ensuring all artworks are delivered on time and to specification Present strategy, ideas and creative to stakeholders for sign off Assist with the broader creative team's workload where appropriate from a copywriting or design perspective. This is a hands-on role, and you will need to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the day-to-day Review all copy and design that comes out of the studio across all clients to ensure the work remains to a high-standard Understand metrics, and weigh-in on results with ideas on how to optimise campaigns and programmes Help with strategy across new business, pitches, and current clients according to needs Understand customer touchpoints and journeys and channel matrices in order to craft solutions for clients and prospective clients Participate in Publicis Creative Counsel initiatives, and attend meetings of the broader Africa and Global creative team Managing and crafting awards entries and case studies Qualifications Qualifications / Experience / Skills Relevant tertiary qualification 5 years working experience as a Creative Director in the loyalty, DM and CRM fields, leading a team of creatives A good command of the English language (both written and verbal) Strong presentation skills and leadership experience Awards for effectiveness Additional Information Personality Attributes Team player Ability to remain calm in a highly pressurized environment Ability to take ownership and work in an autonomous manner Meticulous with attention to detail and consistency Conceptual hands-on creative thinker who is curious about clients' products and services and an appreciation for branding A can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile Deadline driven Adaptable Resilient Solution-driven Assertive Other: Flexible to work beyond normal working hours (overtime if and when required) Comfortable and willing to work on alcohol brands Interested candidates must please submit a concise CV.
