Reference: JHB000065-M-2 Ability to assess credit, quasi-equity and equity risk and prepare necessary submissions to the various Committees for new clients and those being appraised for restructure etc. Ability to monitor and validate the adequacy of loan security provided to the organization to be able to identify potential risks and make appropriate recommendations. Ability to manage and direct the due diligence process for new and existing clients. Understanding of Credit, Equity and Quasi equity lending and investment structures. Strong financial modelling, deal structuring, corporate finance, private equity, project finance, due diligence, analytics, and valuations. Provide input in the drafting of facility agreements in collaboration with the organization legal division. Collaborate with the Legal team to ensure that all key and specific conditions are captured in the drafting of legal agreements before facility drawdown. Extremely good writing and presentation skills Experience in working in a highly collaborative environment. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while collaborating with stakeholders. Report writing and presentation skills, analytical skills, communication skills, risk management, attention to Detail, teamwork, Professionalism, work under pressure, quality management/assurance. Qualifications: Minimum Requirement: Postgraduate qualification in Finance investments. Preferred Requirement : Advanced qualifications including Masters/ CFA/ CA (SA). Experience: 5 years' experience in structured Credit/ Investment environment/ development finance/Corporate finance. Knowledge of IFRS reporting standards, understanding of the South African Companies Act, Corporate Governance, NCR and NCA and related legislation.
