Job Advert Summary Eduvos is looking to employ a Credit Controller Supervisor at our Midrand campus on a permanent basis. Type of appointment: Permanent Purpose: To reduce Eduvos debt through the management of the credit control team. Minimum Requirements National Diploma Financial Accounting / Credit Management or Degree in Finance At least three years experience in dept collection management Duties and Responsibilities Accountability Areas: Debt Collection Maintenance of student accounts Reviewing of students enrolled Student suspension Operational Process Outputs: Review of age analysis Allocate accounts to credit controller Identify risk accounts per credit controller Action identified handover accounts Load new collections in payment platform Identify due accounts Load collection Management Areas: Debt strategy rollout – planning, scheduling, monitoring, control, corrective action Reporting on debt statistics Workflow / alignment / silos with other finance departments Escalated query management Collaborate with internal stakeholders for resolution of queries Feedback to customer/ credit controller on outcome Resourcing and capacity management (people, facilities, and equipment) Leadership Responsibilities: Talent acquisition, selection, onboarding and succession / bench strength Compliance to HR policies and procedures Roles filled with competent people as indicated by actual performance after appointment Strong talent/succession bench to exploit business opportunities Individual performance - role clarity and objectives; reviews; feedback; corrective actions Compliance to policies and procedures Recognise excellent performance and deal with under performers Skill levels - training & development Develop direct reports to be successful Provide a climate which fosters learning and growth Culture and climate Live, share and ensure that everybody understand the vision, strategy and values Drive implementation of culture initiatives Visible and engaged and energise the department through effective communication and personal energy Build a team and do not do the work of direct reports Team work and synergy facilitated, motivation and support provided Conflict and disciplinary issues addressed timeously Remuneration – input into decisions Fairly discriminate between people based on performance and potential Clearly communicate basis of remuneration and bonuses to staff Stakeholder management Functional and Behavioural Competencies Functional Competencies: Proficiency in MS Office Ability to work with numbers Telephone etiquette / email Deep understanding of credit management systems Ability to work well under pressure Conflict Management Skills Behavioural Competencies: Initiative and responsibility People leadership and development Constructive teamwork Effective communication (verbal and written) Analysis and judgment / problem solving Systematic approach (planning and organising) Steadiness (emotional tenacity) Apply Now
