Unique Personnel boasts over 50 years (established in 1970) of personnel and staffing experience, so it's not surprising that even though our main focus has been providing on South African Staffing Solutions, we now recruit internationally for over 5000 clients General Responsibilities: Full Function of Creditors Relief Debtors, Wage Payroll KPA (Key Performance Area) Inherent to Job Description Full function of Creditors: Liaise with the departments to ensure that all work is received Generate Invoices Reconciling of shortages and pallets Generating goods return and credit notes, requests for credits, passing of credits Collate all statements during the month from suppliers Complete an accurate reconciliation of supplier accounts Service / support departments and suppliers with any queries Excel spreadsheet reconciliations All Creditor related Administration Loading of weekly canteen deduction on spreadsheet and Pastel Payroll BBEE function: Ensuring the Procurement Preferred Supplier spreadsheet is up to date and all supplier BBEE certificates are current with copy on file. Relief Duties of Debtors Clerk as required Relief Duties of Wage Payroll as required Support to Accounts Manager Targets Adminstration Housekeeping Ensure that all outstanding queries are resolved within set time Ensure that all deadline dates are met General Accounts Administration All filing of reconciliations and supporting documentation All month-end reports as requested by Management General Housekeeping of Work Area Quality Management Adhere to company ISO standards Adhere to company Policies and Procedures Adhere to company Health & Safety and Housekeeping Minimum QualificationTertiary Education achieved and or Diploma Grade 12 with AccountsPreferred:Qualification or Training:Accounting / Bookkeeping Diploma Minimum Experience2 years in a JD Description operational role and or experience, preferably in the packaging industry Minimum AbilityIntermediate accounting, mathematical abilityGood knowledge of Accounting Package – preferably Accpac Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft ExcelAbility to work well under pressure and effective time managementOrganization skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracyInterpersonal skills Good communication skills and telephone etiquetteSelf-motivated and able to use initiative Apply Now
