Key requirements: Preferred BSc in Engineering, BEng or Metallurgy Experience in the mining or industrial industry preferred. Experience in process optimisation preferred. ideally an engineering background, some script programming experience (python, JavaScript), SQL experience, and a good understanding of signals and systems. 1-3 years’ and more experience within a data science environment, preferably with mining and mineral processing experience Experience in using Cloud services, preferably certified in Azure or AWS Knowledge of machine learning & AI concepts and their algorithms Power BI is used extensively in the business Use your analytical, statistical and programming skills to collect, analyse and interpret large datasets, create comprehensive and meaningful dashboards and translate visualisations into meaningful actions to improve processes and efficiencies.
