Data Center Maintenance Technician - Cape Town City Centre

Description Responsibilities Perform daily monitoring and maintenance of data centre sites infrastructure. Perform alarm monitoring and restore site service. Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of new data centre plant. Maintenance of Generator, UPS, HVAC, DC Plant and general electrician. Switch room and remote hub site maintenance on MV and LV equipment. Identify plant risk and forecast problem-solving techniques. Monitoring of heating and cooling systems to conform with equipment temperature. Meeting client SLA and MSA requirements. Maintenance of with health and safety protocols in adherence with statutory compliance. Provide daily/weekly maintenance report base on template. Qualifications Be able to perform routine inspection on Generator, UPS, HVAC , DC Plant and general electrician Be able to work as night shift. Have 3-year work experience on data centre maintenance. Strong self-study ability Electrical installations with Installation Electrician qualification Good communication skill and teamwork
