Data Engineer - - Johannesburg

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
Proven experience in developing complex SQL queries and optimizing SQL performance.
Strong knowledge of ETL toolsets and hands-on experience with data integration and transformation.
Solid understanding of database technologies, both relational and non-relational.
Experience working with Hadoop components (e.g., HDFS, Hive, Spark) and related ecosystem tools.
Familiarity with data warehousing principles and best practices.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java) for scripting and automation.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
