Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Demand Planner to join our client in the Food Production industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for planning and a background in food production to contribute to a well-established company. Responsibilities: Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand to develop accurate demand forecasts for food products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain, to gather relevant data and insights and align on demand plans. Monitor and track inventory levels, ensuring availability of products to meet customer demands while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory. Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of raw materials and ingredients. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as forecast accuracy, fill rate, and inventory turns. Identify potential risks and opportunities in demand patterns and develop strategies to address them. Requirements Proven experience as a Demand Planner in the food production industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Proficiency in demand planning software and ERP systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of supply chain concepts and best practices in the food production industry. Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
