Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Culinary qualification or 4 years experience in a similar position
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar environment
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Creative in food and menu planning
  • Demonstrate passion for attention to detail and high standards.
  • Good all-rounder cold and hot kitchen.
  • Must be very well spoken and enjoy interacting with Staff.
  • Should be responsible and accountable with high standards and work ethic.
  • Be able to do food costing.
Responsibilities:
  • Running the allocated section given to you.
  • Strong in A la carte
  • Preparing food of a very high standard and quality.
  • Ensure minimum or no wastage.
  • Adhering to correct hygiene principles.
  • Assist with food stock counts.
  • Assist with OE stock counts.
