Mid-Senior Level Desktop Support Engineer required for a well establish company based in Rivonia with; Grade 12 International MCSE or MCSA advantageous Windows Server 2016 will be advantageous A, Server, N or similar 3 – 5 years concurrent IT work experience Understanding of Windows Event logs and how to identify problems Install, configure and support all Desk and Server operating systems Desktop and server configuration and application software General hardware installation and trouble shooting. Respond and resolve support calls at customer's sites Responsible for calls via remote connection. Remote administration of servers and workstations Configuration documentation for client sites. Knowledge of backup solutions like Veeam, Windows Backup, Altar a similar applications. Be familiar with SCCM Report support applications e.g. VPN, RDP and Team Viewer Active Directory Knowledge server system work experience such RAID TCP / IP networking required. Must have own reliable transport and ability to work after hours on short notice when required Work one week in the office from 07h00 – 16h00 and the following week from home from 09h00 to 18h00 Grade 12 International MCSE or MCSA advantageous Windows Server 2016 will be advantageous A, Server, N or similar 3 – 5 years concurrent IT work experience Must have own reliable transport and ability to work after hours on short notice when required R17 000 - R25 000 ctc depending on eperience
