RCL Foods is seeking a Despatch Controller –to join our Rustenburg Baking site. The role will be reporting into the Distribution Manager. Purpose of the role Responsible for the Despatch Department to deliver daily OTIF for Rustenburg bakery and its 2 Depots including bakeouts to the rest of the Sunbake network as a supply bakery. Duties & Responsibilities Manage local feeders and route trucks to maintain 100% OTIF. Stock Management and rotation Coordinate loadings and departures for feeders to sister bakeries. Crate Management to ensure optimum production time. Seamless and flexible shift patterns in line with legislation and minimize overtime Manage a pool of Shunter Drivers, Dispatch Supervisors, Receiving Clerks and Loaders Seamless and flexible shift patterns in line with legislation and minimize overtime. Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly rooster and prepare timesheets for payroll Responsible for leading and guiding a team of despatch people. Determine loading and departures for feeders to sister bakeries Will be required to work some weekends Minimum Requirements Matric Post matric qualification in Supply Chain or related field Computer literacy proficiency Minimum 5 yrs exp in a dispatch, logistics and distribution environment Supervisory experience Apply Now
