Detailing Sales Consultant - Cape Town Region
Our client has an opportunity available for a Detailing Sales Consultant based in Cape Town North. Requirements: English and Afrikaans language proficiency. Knowledge of basic financial calculations. Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers. Strong knowledge of the products & therapeutic areas in the healthcare and medical environment in South Africa. Pharmaceutical product experience with scheduled medicines- essential. 3 years proven successful track record in the pharmaceutical industry- required. 3 years detailing experience to specialist doctors- essential. Previous basket experience or exposure would be an advantage. Existing relationships with key customers would be an advantage. Must be computer literate on MS Excel, Power Point and Word. Matric including relevant post graduate qualification. Valid driver’s license. KPAs: Effectively communicate technical knowledge of the company’s product range to influence the habits of the targeted healthcare professionals in the assigned territory. Engaging in a detailing session with all parties. Ensure daily information flow of competitor activities and general company transactions. Manage the territory to achieve service level requirements in a cost-efficient manner. Organize pharmacy training events. Travel for a minimum of 10 days as per business requirements.
