Our client is seeking a professional and experienced DevOps Engineer to join their team As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for improving current systems to identify and continuously close DevOps gaps. POSITION: Permanent EXPERIENCE: 6-8 Years related working experience. COMMENCEMENT: As soon as possible Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related. A minimum of 5 years in a Development/Deployment/IT focused role. Detailed knowledge of the SDLC and management of software products. Linux & Scripting skills Scripting Languages (C++), GIT, Python, Windows. Essential Skills: Strong knowledge and experience in software driven radios, including the functionality, configuration, and tests. Strong knowledge of system design, development, and implementation. Experience with system testing and debugging. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Broad IT Network Knowledge on Routers, Wi-Fi Access Points, Switches; LAN Cabling, Voice Gateways, Protocols, Network Management Systems. Troubleshoot, maintain, and support a wide range of systems. Knowledge of Satellite communications. Responsibilities: Improve current systems to identify and continuously close DevOps gaps. Capable of designing and implementing DevOps-related solutions. Responsible for DevOps solution and architecture design. Implementation of solutions according to planned out tasks. Maintain company Tech Radar and DevOps roadmap. Design and implement solutions using most appropriate approved patterns and multi-tier architectures. Working with project managers and developers to get software and systems up and running in a timely manner to ensure long-term scalability for the business. Server virtualisation. Network virtualisation. Provide/create and share diagrams of infrastructure. Execute process and procedural change, implement the change, and provide guidelines and support related to new requirements because of the change Responsible maintaining network architectures, and for the identification and resolution of high-level hardware and software technical problems and malfunctions related to the network and related services.
