Job Title: IT SECURITY OFFICER Location: Humansdorp The Information Technology Security Officer is responsible for analyzing, assessing and investigating the vulnerabilities in The Co-op’s IT infrastructure as well as protecting information and systems against any cyber and security related threats in order to ensure a stronger, secure and resilient IT infrastructure MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Programming or related field and / or Relevant industry certification such as CompTIA Security , Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Skills, Competencies & Knowledge: Build a comprehensive security program that includes cybersecurity policies Foster a culture of physical and digital security awareness Control and administer system access according to audit requirements Provide support to users regarding system access Regular analysis of security risks Compilation, analysis, application and maintenance of IT Security policies and guidelines Compilation, maintenance and execution of disaster recovery plans and procedures Research new security technologies to decide what will most effectively protect The Co-op Knowledge of IBM, SQL & Windows and other computer applications Ability to work under pressure and within strict time frames Written and verbal communication skills Interpersonal skills Knowledge of security operations and procedures Problem solving skills and error detection Ability to work under pressure and within strict time frames Ability to follow complex instructions Personality Traits: Professional, alert, focused, analytical thinking, orderly, high level of integrity, accurate, critical thinking, detail oriented, strong judgment To Apply: Click Here
