Digital Project Manager - Cape Town City Centre

Overview of this role With a focus on digital marketing, this role will help navigate the details to keep creative for integrated marketing campaigns/projects on brand and on time. The ideal candidate will have a background in client servicing and/or project management, knows how to navigate the complexities of multiple campaigns at once, thrives under pressure and is an excellent facilitator to bridge between the client, commercial and other operations teams (consulting & media managers) and the creative teams (design and development). Place Within Organisation - Report to the Head of Delivery/in -market Account Director. Works with a team of Project Managers, Account Managers, Creative Services, Designers and Developers - Works internally with the Technical & Services Team, Consultancy Team and in-market teams and when required, externally with clients. Tasks & Responsibilities - Collaborate with key partners to define, plan and execute cross-functional creative campaigns with a focus on digital marketing - Day-to-Day client servicing & project management and inter- and intra-department communication - Meet with clients both in-person and remotely for project status updates & project reviews - Support the client with all their creative needs and implement these into the agency briefing process - help teams identify and record important details and build informed timelines - Manage creative resources and work - create and communicate project documents, identify and resolve changes in scope and track tasks against other work in the queue - Help streamline workflows across creative teams; processes focused on task, time and file management, approval protocol, and quality control - Report status of creative initiatives clearly, consistently and reliably to executive management and team members - Navigate production on exciting website, app and rich media/dynamic digital advertising projects - Lead day-to-day communication and project deliverables with internal teams - Conscious of budget and resources to ensure project profitability - Scope new projects, including developing budgets,resourcing needs and timelines. - Use creative platform knowledge (Display & Video 360, Smartly & GMP Studio) to digest client briefs and brief the relevant creative teams, including, design, development and copywriting. Knowledge And Experience Required Skills - 5 years of proven experience in project management - preferably digital project management or integrated creative project management - A good understanding of the digital marketing process - Understanding of digital creatives (website creatives, social media and display ads) - Preferable knowledge of demand-side creative platforms (Display & Video 360, GMP Studio) and creative formats within those platforms but not essential - Knowledge of Integrated Creative (Traditional Advertising) formats and workflows preferred - Expert in industry-standard project management tools like Monday.com Advantages - Experience in building creative or media strategies for digital campaigns - Knowledge of Google Web Designer - Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - Knowledge of HTML & CSS - Understanding of how long creative production takes Soft Skills - Skilled at managing timelines and managing client expectations - Thorough understanding of English spelling & grammar - Attention to detail - Team management - Client communication Key Competencies And Work Ethic - Self-starter - you will be required to work independently and move projects forward. - Positive Influence - a positive team member who keeps the other team members motivated. This requires a strong sense of pride in their work and ensuring that all output goes through rigorous quality control. Organisation is key in these portfolios. - Time Management - identify the urgent & important tasks and priorities to ensure delivery to clients and other stakeholders. - Interpersonal Skills - we want someone who can build relationships both internally and externally. As the day-to-day point of contact between Incubeta, the client and the partners, this person would need to have strong leadership qualities. - Solutions Driven - we need someone who can think on their feet and come up with quick solutions to everyday problems.
