Director - Hospital Infrastructure delivery - Johannesburg

We are urgently looking for a well experienced Senior Manager / Director to join our Public government client within the Hospital Infrastructure delivery division as a Director. You need to have a pre-entry certificate into Senior management More than 6 years' Senior management / Director experience Must have a NQF level 7 recognised qualification by SAQA - Construction / Built environment related qualification Must have professional registration Must have Public sector management experience in the delivery and oversight of infrastructure programmes Valid Drivers' license Copies of all qualifications Knowledge of Construction Industry Development Board Act and Regulations, Council for Built Environment Act, Intergovernmental Framework Act, Architectural Profession Act, Quantity Surveying Profession Act, Engineering Profession Act, National Building standards Act, Regulations and Municipal regulations. Familiar with Standard for Infrastructure delivery management system, MFMA, PFMA / DORA / Treasury regulations, Public Service Act and Regulations. Programme and project management skills Computer literate Born leader People centred Customer focus and relationship building skills Analytical Excellent communication skills on verbal and written level Contract management and financial management experience Able to manage staff effectively You will be responsible for procuring hospital projects Manage Chief Architect, Chief QS, Chief Construction Project manager and Facility Design plan Deputy Director Give input on the development of construction procurement strategies, project execution plan, programme implementation plan and programme management plan Successful management of the implementation of contracts within budget Ensure that contract awards and cancellation are captured on the register Work within the infrastructure unit support systems, SANS and National Core standards for Health establishments in South Africa Manage the preparation of financial and non-financial reports, performance reports Draft close out project reports SLA management and delivery Validate building plans in line with National and municipal building regulations Develop operation plans for Directorate Successful management of the funds of the Directorate in line with PFMA Implement Directorate procurement and demand plans HR development Responsible for the training and development of staff Sector management and programme reporting Privat Public Partnership Programme management Project management Stakeholder relationship management Procurement strategy drafting experience Bid management experience Contract management experience Project Cost Engineering experience JBCC / NEC / FIDIC Construction management experience Cost analysis experience Financial analysis experience Compliance driven Performance management experience Apply Now
