Our client in the Supply Chain requires, the services of a Dispatch Coordinator that is reliable and hardworking to join their team. Key performance areas: Check stock to assist pickers and escalate discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor Organise and communicate with customers for the transportation of returns and credits Organise and communicate with bulk and local outsource deliveries Communicate with customers regarding orders, ETA's and late deliveries Support with picking, packing and stock counts as required Prepare waybills for bulk and local outsource deliveries Assist customers with collections and deliveries as required Participate in HSE activities, housekeeping and pro-active reporting Ensure documentation for transport and deliveries are completed and filed Handle customer queries - incorrect dispatch of deliveries Communicate roadmap, directions and contact details with customers Participate in operation excellence and continuous improvement activities The successful candidate must have: Matric Must have 3 years working experience in dispatch Valid forklift license with experience of driving Proficient in ERP systems would be advantageous SAP experience would be advantageous Strong sense of time management and prioritisation Able to work independently and within a team Excellent numeracy and problem-solving skills Excellent leadership and organisational skills Must be customer-orientated Computer literate – (Word, Excel and Outlook) Excellent communication skills: Afrikaans and English (written and verbal) Must have a valid driver's license and own reliable transport Please note that only short listed candidates will be contacted.
