Duties & Responsibilities- Ensure all finished goods are stored according to good warehouse practices and always follow FIFO.
- Ensure that all warehouse and admin systems are correctly followed and updated daily.
- Ensure the warehouse is cleaned according to food safety standards.
- Manage and coach the warehouse staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Be responsible for all forms supplied by the Food Safety Quality Manager
- Ensure finished goods received from production are checked according to the customer standard.
- Ensure all deliveries are on time and in full.
- Follow the Sales Order to Invoice process flawlessly.
- Look after all aspects of fleet management as well as contracts.
- Conduct all cycle stock counts and ensure the integrity of the counts.
- Conduct all monthly stock counts and ensure stock integrity in Syspro.
- Providing daily accurate information on stock levels to production.
- Clear communication with sales on order customer stock availability, fulfilment, and scheduling.
Desired Experience & Qualification
QUALIFICATIONS
- National Diploma in Logistics/operations management/ Supply Chain Management
- 3 + years of production FMCG Experience
- Experience and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of SYSPRO is essential
- MS Office Excel, Word and Outlook
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required
- Knowledge of stores management techniques and systems, particularly in a project manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and or services ordering and inventory control.
- Be conversant with inventory management and stock counting
- Attention to Detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
