Dispatch Supervisor - Gauteng
Overseeing the dispatch of orders on time. Ensuring that packing and transportation meet a company's quality control. Provide leadership and guidance to the dispatch team Monitor dispatch department performance and enforce efficient communication between dispatch and other departments. Courier scheduling and preparing/checking orders before couriers collect. Evaluate couriers, equipment and processes for improvement. Establish, monitor, and implement procedures for evaluating performance of employees. Mediate problems and disputes between dispatch, other departments and customers as needed. Ensure that department personnel adhere to all company policies concerning ethics, legal compliance, safety, customer service and environmental protection standards. Coordinate any necessary disciplinary action with the company’s human resources department. Perform other duties as assigned by management. There is some level of physical heavy lifting required. Candidate must have a stable track record with good references. Candidate must have their own reliable transport and valid driver's license.
