Dispatcher - Cape Town City Centre
We are in need of an exceptionally skilled and highly organized Dispatcher to manage a bustling depot. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in efficiently coordinating the movement of vehicles between the depot, airport, and various destinations. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling vehicles according to airport bookings, VIP clients, and long-term leases. The role requires a deep understanding of managing high-volume vehicle logistics (50-100 vehicles daily), quick thinking, managing drivers, problem-solving under pressure, and strong administrative skillsproficiency in Excel is vital. This position involves significant outdoor work and demands meticulous attention to detail.
Essential Job Requirements
Matric Certificate
A valid Drivers License
A minimum of 3 years of Dispatch experience (Car Rental, Fleet or Logistics)
A good command of the English Language
Good Computer Skills (Excel is essential)
Highly Organised and an excellent problem solver
In good physical condition and can endure extended periods outside
Ability to work shifts
Stable and consistent work history
