The individual will use the customer's ERP system to receive daily orders and plan the orders within the routing and scheduling software, these routes are then uploaded to the tracking software in order to measure planned vs actual compliance. The individual will need to take time to truly understand the customer's environment and needs in order to create the most efficient routing. The individual will also be expected to conduct ad hoc tasks that fall outside of the core planning responsibility in order to ensure that planning function is effectively aligned with the other operational stakeholders. To review the health of the software system/s To review KPI's on a regular basis To manage benefits through the effective se and maintenance of KPI's To ensure that all projects are completed within the set time frame To pro-actively identify opportunities for cost saving exercises Monthly and ad hoc meetings with clients Ensure all daily tasks are completed on site on time and in a professional manner To provide support to call centre queries relating to the relevant software Ad hoc strategic optimization exercised and software implementations Bcom. within Logistics or Industrial engineering degree Prior relevant work experience not required but would be of benefit to the candidate.
