Purpose of the role: The role encompasses the management of the Low Voltage Division, staff, and products as well as any other opportunities, which may arise, to source and maintain products to be distributed through the Company. Duties and responsibilities: Efficiently lead and manage the Low Voltage Division aligned with the Company directives, strategic goals, and target requirements Render guidance and efficient coordination support between the sales branches and or warehouses Remain abreast with developments in the Low Voltage industry as well as legislative compliance accreditation and limited legal liability in the execution of the Sales and Marketing activities of the Company/group Ensure inter division liaison and coordination with the various sales and operational subsidiaries to facilitate and undertake sound and efficient operations and address all possible challenges encountered in the branches and other relevant divisions Formulation and provision or all reports, metrics, analysis, and presentations required in terms of operational as well as due diligence and audit requirements To develop, implement and manage the strategy for the Management and execution of divisional strategy of the Low Voltage Division Formulate, manage, and monitor allocated divisional budget Source current and trending merchandise to enhance sales, marketing, and competitiveness of the Company in the low voltage market and to stay abreast with changes in product and regulations To manage and support interaction within the business and external stakeholders in terms of facilitation of the strategic, operational, logistical, and service requirement of the division for the branches, their clientele and suppliers where required To review and facilitate development and progression of staff related to technical training required, accreditation or in view of product enrichment and managerial requirement Ensure Succession planning, mentoring, and coaching of the division is implemented and maintained To provide technical presentations on the product as and when required To manage the sales and sales execution process from enquiry generation, quotation, and supply Manage and ensure efficient performance and talent management of the division is applied in line with all legislative requirements and goals and targets set Manage the efficient time and attendance aligned with the procedures and protocols of the Company Manager and monitor trends and related markets Manage and promote sound employee relations within the division Adhere and promote high ethical standards and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations within the division Required to travel where operationally required Undertake to participate and serve on relevant committees and projects established during the operations of the Company Will be required to comply and execute where any related and reasonable AD HOC directive/instruction is required Requirements: Marketing/Sales Degree or Management Degree and or accredited Electrical Degree or accreditation related to Low Voltage Electricity 5-year Mid to Senior Managerial and Marketing experience in Sales/Marketing environment Good people management experience Experience in dealing with customers Proven knowledge and experience related to Sales and Procurement of Low Voltage and related products Leadership and managerial ability Strong financial acumen Decisiveness Strategic planning and organisation skills Good at solving problems and adaptability Professional ability to excel in a deadline driven fast paced evolving environment.
