Job Title: DraughtsmanLocation: Cape TownJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join our client and their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent drawing skills, and the ability to create accurate technical drawings for a variety of projects. The Draughtsman will work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to produce detailed drawings that adhere to industry standards and project requirements.Responsibilities:- Create detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and objectives- Review and interpret design specifications, schematics, and blueprints- Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings by verifying dimensions, materials, and other details- Make revisions to drawings as needed based on feedback from team members- Maintain organized and up-to-date files of drawings and other project documentation- Adhere to industry standards and best practices for technical drawing and draftingRequirements:- Previous experience as a Draughtsman or similar role- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD or SolidWorks- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent drawing and drafting skills- Ability to interpret technical specifications and blueprints- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for technical drawing and drafting- Strong communication and collaboration skills See Description See Description
