Minimum requirements: Valid Code 14 drivers license with PDP Good communication skills in Afrikaans and English Be willing to work long hours / Must be able to drive long distances Be presentable and neat Able to plan routes Minimum 5 years' experience as a code 14 driver Must be physically fit Be able to drive according to google maps Must be a team player Duties will include: Conduct pre-trip checks on assigned trucks to ensure they are in good working order Follow assigned routes and adhere to time schedules Load and unload delivery vehicles Accept and analyze deliveries orders, prioritizing tasks Assist loaders in moving furniture into delivery trucks and ensuring proper stacking and securing Plan efficient routes using GPS and traditional maps Handle paperwork relayed to deliveries, including warranty documents Interact with the dispatch unit to report successful deliveries Perform preventive and routine maintenance on assigned vehicles Assemble new pieces before placing them in their final location Move existing items into place and secure them properly Remuneration: R8 000 Food allowance and accommodation allowance are paid on deliveries out of town Monday to Friday IMPORTANT: Applications close 04 March 2024 Only applications submitted via the Ditto Jobs platform will be considered Only candidates who meet all our client's minimum requirements will be contacted Apply Now
