Driver - Bloemfontein

Minimum requirements:
- Valid Code 14 drivers license with PDP
- Good communication skills in Afrikaans and English
- Be willing to work long hours / Must be able to drive long distances
- Be presentable and neat
- Able to plan routes
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a code 14 driver
- Must be physically fit
- Be able to drive according to google maps
- Must be a team player
Duties will include:
- Conduct pre-trip checks on assigned trucks to ensure they are in good working order
- Follow assigned routes and adhere to time schedules
- Load and unload delivery vehicles
- Accept and analyze deliveries orders, prioritizing tasks
- Assist loaders in moving furniture into delivery trucks and ensuring proper stacking and securing
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and traditional maps
- Handle paperwork relayed to deliveries, including warranty documents
- Interact with the dispatch unit to report successful deliveries
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance on assigned vehicles
- Assemble new pieces before placing them in their final location
- Move existing items into place and secure them properly
Remuneration: R8 000
Food allowance and accommodation allowance are paid on deliveries out of town
