Driver & Forklift Operator Needed - Mtunzini Mica - Gauteng
The main focus areas of the Driver position are to effect deliveries accurately and timeously, to deliver excellent customer service at all times, and to ensure that the company vehicles at all times reflect a positive image of the business and the brand. Sales will be maximised by friendly, efficient and professional conduct by drivers, often the first impression the client gets of the business. This will contribute to customer loyalty and increased sales growth. Responsibilities: Professional driving, Stock delivering, Customer care, Professional conduct, Housekeeping, Safe Loading and Offloading of stock, Health and Safety. Qualifications: The individual filling this position should at least have passed Matric (or equivalent) and have a valid Matric / qualification certificate. In addition to this, the Driver is required to have a suitable / valid driver’s licence for the vehicle he / she will be driving with a minimum of 2 years forklift experience. Knowledge and Skills Requirements: The following knowledge and skill requirements would be a preference, but not necessarily a minimum requirement unless otherwise indicated by a . Trustworthy and reliable Communication skills Interpersonal skills Literate and numerate, some mathematical ability Company systems, policies and procedures, Microsoft office, Attention to detail and accuracy, Able to gain a thorough knowledge of city and suburban streets, Safe driving record and a valid driver’s license / forklift operator license The following key characteristics are looked for in a driver: Positive attitude, Honesty, Patience, Friendly and helpful, Hardworking, Punctual, Neat appearance, Work independently, Ability to prioritise, Time management, Confident and assertive.
