We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented eCommerce Administrator to join the team. The eCommerce Administrator will play a crucial role in optimizing the online product catalog and ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for customers. This position requires a deep understanding of e-commerce, excellent analytical skills and a passion for keeping up with industry trends to drive sales and enhance the customer journey. Responsibilities: Merchandise Planning Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, inventory management, and product development, to create and execute an effective online merchandising strategy Analyze sales trends, customer behavior, and market data to identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions Product Selection and Curation Choose and curate products for the online store, ensuring alignment with brand identity, target audience, and current market trends Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark product offerings against competitors and identify gaps and opportunities Content Management Create and manage product listings, including product descriptions, images, pricing, and availability. Optimize product content for search engine optimization (SEO) and ensure accurate and compelling product information Pricing and Promotion Monitor and adjust product pricing to remain competitive and maximize profitability Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute online promotions, discounts, and special offers Inventory Management Coordinate with inventory and fulfillment teams to ensure product availability and accurate stock levels Implement strategies to minimize overstock and understock situations User Experience Optimization Work with the website design and user experience teams to ensure an intuitive and visually appealing online shopping experience Implement product categorization and filtering options to improve product discoverability Performance Analysis Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to online merchandising, such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention Use analytics tools to gather insights and make continuous improvements Requirements: Completed Matric Completed a related Degree qualification – essential 2 years e-commerce and Merchandising experience within a Manufacturing environment Must have a good understanding of written and verbal communication Must be able to work independently and be responsible enough to work without supervision Must be a Self-Starter with a highly organized mind Ability to work in a self-driven, complex environment with multiple and changing priorities Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables The Position : We're looking for a skilled eCommerce Administrator to be office based in Woodstock, Cape Town.
